North West Wedding Awards 2020
Updated: Mar 8
We took part in the North West Wedding awards 2020 this year and was Invited to the awards ceremony over a Zoom call along with fellow wedding Photographers, Videographers, and wedding suppliers. It was a lovely evening, and we were excited to win Best Videographer!
Humbled to win an award after such a difficult year, it just goes to show how awesome and supportive our couples are, thank you for voting and your ongoing support!
Every year, Country Brides pay special recognition to wedding suppliers across the North West who really go the extra mile. The annual awards are voted for by brides and grooms who had outstanding experiences from wedding suppliers, so this award means a lot to us here at Capture My Big Day. I am not big on awards, usually as my time and focus is solely spent on improving our craft and giving everyone the best possible journey however it’s always nice every now and then to be recognised.
2020 has seen over 40 big days moved, however staying positive has meant we didn’t stop, and we got to spend some time with most of you lovely people over the summer.
36 adventure shoots were captured, and we got to be a part of some amazing elopements and weddings from the cliffs of Northern Ireland, the rolling hills of Tuscany and most recently the exchange of vows at a lake at sunset in Wales but to name a few. Every small/micro/split wedding (or whatever they are called) has been brilliant, still packed with moments which are important to remember.
As fun as some of the commercial work and community projects have been nothing compares to the day job of being there on such an amazing day no matter how small. We can’t wait to be back to photographing and filming weddings in 2021 and looking forward to seeing all our lovely new couples
