I loved being chosen by Mellisa & David to be their Wrenbury Hall Wedding Photographer. Such a brilliant day from start to finish!
Wrenbury Hall is an award-winning Cheshire venue which is a family home since 1982 and opened its doors to luxury weddings in 1998.
This grand country estate has been around for 400 years and is jammed packed with character making it a wonderful place to document Mellisa & David’s wedding reception.
One of the best parts of having your wedding day at Wrenbury Hall is how exclusive the venue is. It’s just you and your wedding party with no public access making it all more special. Over the years many fantastic additions have been made to the venue including a champagne bar, Orangery and luxury accommodations.
With it being located not far from Nantwich this must be one of my favourite venues because of its idyllic setting and how secluded it is making it perfect for photographs. But what makes this venue amazing for hosting weddings is not just all the above it’s the outstanding team on the day that makes everything run so smoothly. As a recommended Wrenbury Hall Wedding Photographer and videographer I always feel very comfortable knowing the team will communicate with me throughout the day so together we can make sure everything runs super smooth for the happy couple.
Before the big day
Before having their wedding at Wrenbury Hall I met with Mellisa & David at an open day to put a face to their names. A pre-wedding shoot was included in their package which is a great way to break the ice and get to know each other before the big day. We all met in Chester city centre for a coffee to talk about the flow of their wedding day. We talked about their chosen church which was one I have photographed and filmed before In Marbury, which is just down the road from Wrenbury Hall.
After walking around Chester and along the riverside for a bit any preconceptions about how their wedding day photography would enfold had dropped away and everyone felt relaxed and ready for the big day as the images we capture are more natural and genuine this way.
