Hayley & Jacks Wedding at Wrenbury Hall

We started the day with a walk around Wrenbury hall grounds to film some location shots and we sent the drone up in the air to video the venue. Drone filming is standard in all our film packages and is very popular with wedding couples. We are licensed drone pilots and able to film at most venues across Cheshire, Lancashire, Staffordshire, and North Wales. The Bridal party chose to prepare at Wrenbury Hall so I went to see the beautiful bride Hayley who was relaxing in the luxury dressing suite having her hair done with her bridesmaid. They were all drinking champagne while having their hair and make up finished. With the bridal party relaxing I was able to video some lovely shots and capture some gorgeous photographs of everyone having a great time. The groom Jack was downstairs greeting his wedding guest as they started to arrive. The guests were able to go wait in the bar area and get a drink while chatting to Jack about his morning before they started making their way to the Oak room with its stunning hand-painted ceiling. The groom and registrar were both fitted with wireless microphones to ensure that we had clear audio of the bride and groom saying their wedding vows. Jack was wearing a traditional kilt along with his best man and ushers. The Father of the Bride also wore a kilt. With the bride now ready in her dress she was able to show her Dad her beautiful wedding dress and start the walk down the aisle with her lovely bridesmaids. It was a lovely walk down the aisle and Jack shed a tear when he saw Hayley in her elegant dress. After they said their vows and shared their first married kiss they were met with a large round of applause from their family and friends.

As the happy couple left the Oak room with their guest behind they were greeted with drinks and had time to enjoy the hugs and well wishes from family and friends. We then got everyone outside for the throwing of the confetti and the couple looked amazing with so much confetti in the air, as you can see in the photographs. With a good shake, the confetti was off and we went straight into the family photographs. This is so all the family and friends could enjoy a drink and some canapes while we then took Hayley and Jack for a walk around Wrenbury. We go for a stroll to capture the just married moment between the couple as it gives them time to reflect and enjoy the excitement together in a charming setting. Our filming and photography philosophy is to be as unobtrusive and natural as possible, we let the day unfold organically, with little fuss or interference from us. The bride and groom then had some time to enjoy drinks with their family and friends before they went back out to the front of the building to set off smoke bombs that the bride had requested. The staff at Wrenbury hall could not be more helpful with always making sure the couple had everything they needed and that included making sure the guests would be safe when the smoke canisters went off and had buckets of sand at the ready. I like to meet with the Bride and Groom before the wedding, to get to know each other and to finalise any special wishes they may have such as smoke bombs, etc. This helps to relax the couple on their Special Day and so the images we capture are more natural and genuine. This also helps the film tell the story of their Wedding, and helps them to see parts of the day that will have gone unnoticed by them. When it was time for the wedding breakfast the newlyweds walked in the Orangerie with the Bagpiper leading the way with a big round of applause and cheers.

Evening reception at Wrenbury Hall

After the guests enjoyed the wedding breakfast meal in the Orangerie along with the emotional speeches all the wedding party headed to the bar while the room was turned around for the evening reception. Some guests take this time to check into Wrenbury accommodation while other wedding guests have teas and Coffees served in the drawing-room. We once again took the bride and groom outside to take a few photographs in the dark with colour lights behind them. Once the DJ is all set up with the sparkly dance floor with the giant white letters the evening celebrations start. With Drinks in hands from the bar, the wedding guests are eager to see the bride and groom cut their wedding cake. With the photographs of the cake cutting its time for the newlyweds to hit the dance floor for their first dance. We film this with one camera up high to video over guests heads and with the other camera, we are on the dancefloor capturing the reactions and dance moves of the happy couple and family & friends. Every film is unique, and a lovely memory for family to revisit again and again. It was such a pleasure to be able to photograph and film the gorgeous day for the lovely couple. Thank you for letting me tell your story at such a beautiful location.
