I started the day by meeting the beautiful bride Olivia who was getting ready at her parent’s lovely house. Olivia and her bridesmaid were relaxing with the sun shining through the windows, I was able to capture lots of images of them chilling and laughing whilst the makeup artists and hairdressers worked their magic. Olivia was ready in plenty of time to get into her princess dress and was lucky enough to have her dress reveal outside on the patio to her parents and Bridesmaids. It was a lovely moment to catch on video with smiles and heartfelt tears.
The groom was waiting at the lakeside ready to greet his wedding guests. There were geese on the lake making their loud sounds which is quite typical of a lakeside wedding. It wasn’t long till the bridesmaids were walking down the aisle ready for the Beautiful Bride Olivia to follow with her Father.
Videography at Thornton Manor
I loved videoing the ceremony had as there was so much love and laughter between Olivia and Jon. With Olivia’s infectious smile you couldn’t help but smile along with the couple as they said their vows. They were soon married and had a long line of hugs and well wishes from their guests. It was soon time for some family photos outside the marquee and with the lovely weather the bride and groom got to take the boat out on Thornton manor lake. We went once around the lake and captured some gorgeous moments between the happy couple on video and on camera. We then went for a stroll around the grounds and took some stunning portraits of the couple with the car. We also flew the drone and followed the bride and groom down the long Thornton manor driveway.
With speeches being inside the marquee the couple had the beautiful lake as their backdrop which is perfect to be filmed with the movement of the water behind them. After some lovely speeches, the guests moved to the drink’s reception area of the Marquee while the room was quickly turned around with the DJ setting up. Once everyone was back in the room with drinks in hand the Newlyweds begin to cut the cake and start their romantic first dance. All the big day is captured on both film and as photographs as this then helps us to tell their story of how the elegant day unfolded. To be able to tell this story of their wedding day is such pleasure, thank you for letting me photograph and film your wedding.
