Many thanks to Lauren and Ste for inviting us to film their wedding at the luxury Wedding Venue of the grand Thornton Manor Estate, at Thornton Hough on the Wirral. The Bride and Groom had chosen the Lakeside Marquee situated within the extensive grounds of the Thornton Manor Estate, a splendid setting for a memorable day.
Each film package includes drone filming, and the drone shows the stunning Cheshire countryside and the setting of the Lakeside Marquee within the Estate from a perspective that is unseen by the Wedding party. We film regularly in the North West, Merseyside, Lancashire and are privileged to take some truly amazing footage.
We had previously met with Lauren and Ste to go through their Wedding plans, discuss any specific requirements and to get to know them as a couple. This helps to dispel any wedding nerves and allows us to relax together.
The ethos of Capture My Big Day is to be as natural and unobtrusive as possible, allowing the story of each Wedding to unfold as the special day flows. We film the preparations, the coming together of families and friends, and the romance, emotion, and laughter that is part of each wedding celebration. No two stories are ever the same, we film the day and what happens is carefully edited to show the essence of a truly unforgettable day.
The Bride chose the Grooms Cottage, within the grounds of Thornton Manor Estate, for her final wedding preparations, and enjoyed pre-wedding drinks with her Bridesmaids in a relaxed atmosphere. The Groom and his supporters were filmed as they approached the Lakeside Marquee, and throughout the ceremony, the speeches and into the evening celebrations
Videographers are blessed with being able to film those unforgettable moments that tell the story of a wedding celebration, how the family and guests are enjoying the day, the smiles and sometimes tears of joy, all moments that the Bride and Groom may not have seen.
After filming, the Bride and Groom will be able to visit their special day time and again, a moment locked in time for them and their family to enjoy.
