Kayleigh & Calums Wedding at Peckforton Castle
The wedding day started with rain but this didn’t put a damper on the day. We started the day with a walk around the castle filming some location shots of the raining falling. I went to see the beautiful bride Kayleigh who was relaxing in the bridal suite having her hair done with her bridesmaid and flower girls who were having their makeup done and drinking champagne. With the bridal party relaxing while getting ready I was able to video some lovely shots of the flower girls playing.
The groom Calum was down stairs greeting his wedding guest as they ran in from the rain. The guests were all able to have a drink and dry off while chatting to Calum about his morning and any last minute nervousness before making his way into the ceremony room which was full with glistening trees down the aisle. The Bride was now ready upstairs and it was an emotional moment to film with Kayleigh revealing her wedding dress to her Dad. It was hard to hold back the tears as it was such a special moment between them. It was long till the bride was walking down the aisle to Calum who was eagerly waiting for her to arrive. With the candles lit all around them the ceremony twinkling as they said their vows and where soon meet with a large applause from their family and friends as the couple Kissed
Photographs at Peckforton Castle
By the time the ceremony had finished the rain had disappeared in time for the photographer to take the bride and groom out for a walk around the castle grounds which was great to capture the just married moments. The newlyweds were soon back in the Castle receiving well wishes from their wedding guests and enjoying some lovely canapes with Champagne. When filming the day, it’s all about trying to video the important parts of the day for the happy couple. The newlyweds wanted lots of clips of their friends and family enjoying the day as well as the main parts to the day. After a lot of drinks, guests taking selfies with the happy couple and the family Photographs it was time for the wedding breakfast and the large round of applause they entered the hall full of guests.
Evening reception at Peckforton Castle
After some emotional speeches all the guests headed to the bar and some checked into the Castles accommodation. With the DJ all set up and the dance floor with the giant white flower letters as a lovely party background. The evening celebrations started and the bride and groom cut their wedding cake and headed to the dance floor for their first dance as newlyweds. It was such a pleasure to be able to film the fairy tale day for the special couple at such a grand location. Thank you for letting me tell your story.
