Katie & Luke’s wedding at Dorfold Hall
With a walk around the stunning grounds in the morning, I was able to film some location shots and send the drone up in the air to show how lovely Dorfold hall is. After capturing the venue by air and the flowers in the garden I went to see the beautiful bride Katie. She was relaxing with her bridesmaids whilst they were all having their hair and makeup done. I was able to capture some lovely photographs and video of them laughing and having fun together before Katie got into her lovely wedding dress ready to meet her husband to be at the Church. The groom Luke was with his best men greeting their wedding guests at the church. The cameras were set up at the front and back of the church to catch every moment and the groom and registrar had a wireless hidden microphone to catch all the vows spoken. After a beautiful walk down the aisle from the bridesmaids and the Bride with her Mother, we were then treated to some lovely readings and the wedding vows. The couple were soon married and walking back down the aisle to a big round of applause.
Photographs at Dorfold Hall
After the lovely ceremony at the church, the newlyweds headed back to Dorfold hall in the wedding car. Once they arrived at the venue they shared hugs and well wishes from the family as they enjoyed the champagne and canapes. As the Photographer began to take the family portraits we took video clips of the wedding guests enjoying themselves in the sun and playing games in the gardens. With the lush green gardens all around the hall, we went for a walk with the photographer to capture some of those special just married moments on camera. With a mixture of excitement and love in the air, the walk around the grounds was just what’s needed for the couple to relax. and for us to capture their story of the day. You can see in the trailer how elegant Katie looked in her wedding dress walking the grounds and into the marquee with Luke for their wedding breakfast.
Evening Reception at Dorfold Hall
With some emotional speeches in the marquee, it was soon time for the room to be turned around for the evening reception, With it being such a gorgeous day the guests moved outside for a drink and to roast marshmallows on the campfire that had been set up with hay bales around the garden for seats with twinkly fairy lights around. The DJ was all set up and the Newlyweds were quick to cut the wedding cake with cheers all around. We capture all these special moments on video so that they can be edited together to produce a beautiful story of their wedding day. We record the first dance as the evening celebrations start to pick up. With it being the couple’s first dance married we find that the crowd gathers to watch the special moment so the film camera is high up to get over guest’s heads. The family and friends were quick to join them on the dance floor and throw some crazy shapes. It was a pleasure to be at a lovely wedding, thank you for letting me be part of your big day as your Videographer.
