Alcumlow Wedding Barn
Victoria & Josh
Alcumlow Wedding Barn, Wedding Photography | Victoria & Josh
I am a big believer in being the fit for our couples asked to capture a wedding at Alcumlow Wedding Barn is everything a photographer can ask for. Being from Cheshire myself I am biased to its beauty but the church and wedding barn that Victoria and Josh picked were simply beautiful and being based nearby meant me and my team could get to the bridal preparations early and begin capturing this epic day.
I think I have pretty much the best job in the world. Being a wedding photographer at Burghley House is just a dream come true. I was born in Stamford, the local town and grew up there. Burghley House is one of the largest houses in the entire world and a place that holds many events throughout the year including horse trials. Although I now live further north, I love traveling to the area to photograph weddings and charge nothing extra for travel.
Wedding Ceremony in Cheshire
Their wedding ceremony took place at the Grade II listed Norley Church St Johns, in the village of Norley, Cheshire. The Church is a lovely red sandstone Gothic-style building, set in the Cheshire countryside. The Drone camera filmed the Church and surrounding countryside and was a beautiful introduction to Victoria and Josh’s Wedding, about to take place below. Drone filming is included in all our film packages and we are licensed, drone pilots. We are usually able to film across Cheshire, North Wales, Lancashire, and Staffordshire and find that our Drone filming is becoming more and more popular.
Drinks Reception at Alcumlow Wedding Barn
Their reception was to be held in the Rustic Wedding Barn at Alcumlow Hall, a country Wedding Barn venue set in the Cheshire countryside, with views towards the Cop Castle ruins. This was the perfect setting to capture natural rustic images as guests could enjoy a drink both in the barns and in the idyllic gardens.
Wedding Photography & Film
Our ethos is to film and photograph in a natural, unobtrusive way, letting the story of each Special Day unfold. Each wedding is unique, and we like to meet with the Bride and Groom before the wedding to get to know each other. When we film and photograph we are already at ease in each other’s company and they can relax and enjoy the day. Theirs was a colourful country-style relaxed Wedding, with atmospheric monochrome photographs to capture the romance of the occasion. Victoria and Josh were happy to run with a smoke bomb and dance in a white outdoor church, a great fun day.
Filming is the media that captures the emotion in spoken words, the warmth in hugs and embraces, the pop of Champagne corks and the energy in expressions. We film the side stories that may have been missed and the heart and soul of an occasion that only a film-maker can capture. These memories are there to be relived and enjoyed time and again.
Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Field on their wedding, and thank you for inviting us to play a small part in your Big Day.
