Palm House Sefton Park Wedding | Helen & Max

Wedding Videography

We were very pleased to be asked to photograph and film the Wedding of Helen and Max. They had chosen the Victorian Sefton Palm House for their wedding and reception. Sefton Palm House is the jewel in the crown of 235 acres of park and gardens, situated in Sefton Park, Liverpool. It is conveniently located with motorway links to Manchester, Liverpool, and North Wales. This is a wonderful venue for the Drone camera to film. The hexagonal shape of the Palm House glistened below in the summer light and made a beautiful addition to the Wedding about to take place under its glass dome. All our film packages include Drone camera shots, and they add an imposing element to the wedding album. We are licensed Drone pilots, and Drone photographs and film are becoming very popular with the Bride and Groom. We can film across Liverpool, Merseyside, Cheshire, and North Wales. If you are planning a perfect wedding day at Palm House at Sefton park, then please find the link below. The website has information about weddings, the history of the building including a gallery of images and has contact us page. Helen & Max’s wedding at Palm House, Sefton Park

The Bridal party chose to prepare at the family house. When I went to see the bride Helen she was relaxing with her bridesmaids, and I was able to capture some lovely shots of the excited Bridesmaids drinking champagne in the morning.

The groom Max was ready and waiting at the Palm house. All the guests where in high spirits waiting in the gardens and having a drink before the ceremony began.

When Helen was ready it was time for the dress revel to her Dad which set the tears off. With everyone ready to go it was time for the bride to take the vintage car journey to Sefton Palm House. With the groom at the end of the aisle the bridal team made their way through the gardens and down the aisle. It was such a lovely entrance to film with all the bridesmaids walking down the aisle and then having Helen walked down the aisle by both her Mum and Dad. It was not long till the vows were said and the lovely couple kissed with a big applause from all their friends and family. The ethos of Capture my Big Day is to film and photograph in a completely natural and informal way, allowing the Couple and their guests to enjoy the Day without being stage managed. No two stories are ever the same and we film the day as it unfolds.

Couples photographs at Palm house

With the stunning gardens we took a stroll with the couple to photograph those special just married moments. With the mixture of excitement and realisation of the day so far, the walk around the Palm House and the grounds is just what’s needed for the newlyweds to relax and help us capture their story on video of the day. We like to ask the Bride and Groom to move away from their Guests for a few short moments. This is so we were able to take a romantic picture in the colourful gardens, with the Dome as its backdrop. After the walk the couple where back with their wedding’s guests enjoying drinks outside and the warmth of the day. There was then hands up and cheers for the new married couple as they enter the Palm House for their wedding breakfast. These special moments are captured forever, to be revisited again and again.

Sefton Park, Liverpool Evening Reception

Recording the laughter of guests, and the edge of emotion in the voice of the Groom is why we take time to attached miniature wireless recorders to everyone who has speeches. This is so we capture the heartfelt words spoken by a very proud dad in the speeches so they can be relived again after the wedding day. After meal It was then time for some drinks outside while the evening reception was set up inside the Palm house with the DJ. As dusk began to settle, the magic light made an especially beautiful shot some beautiful photographs. The bride and groom soon begin to cut the wedding cake ad head straight over to the dance floor for their first dance as the Newlyweds. It did not take long for the guest to join the dance floor and with the evening celebrations in full swing we captured some nice shots. As photographers and videographers, we feel privileged to be asked to play a part in one of the special moments in the life of the Wedding Couple and everything is carefully edited to show their unique day. Congratulations to Helen and Max on their Wedding and thank you for inviting us to Capture your Big Day.
