Hillbark Hotel is a stunning wedding venue set in beautiful parkland on the Wirral.
Positioned in Royden Park the wedding venue was first originally built on Bidston Hill in Birkenhead. The building was then moved to its present site stone by stone and finished in 1931. The House contains a lot of unique features including stained glass windows and a Jacobean fireplace in the Great hall which dates back to 1527.

Gabbi & Si’s wedding at Hillbark Hotel
The wedding day started in the Bridal suite at Hillbark where I met up with Gabbi the bride and the bridesmaids. We had a relaxing morning together and I captured lots of chilled photos whilst the makeup artists and hairdressers spent time with the bridal party.
The groom got ready at his family home with his beautiful little girl with his best man on hand. When the groom arrived at Hillbark he was ready to greet guests as they arrived for the wedding. It wasn’t long before the ceremony started in the Great Hall and Gabbi walked down the aisle with her Father in that stunning dress!
Couples portraits at Hillbark Hotel
With a Lovely ceremony in the Great Hall the couple tied the knot and after lots of hugs and kisses it was time for a few family photos and couple portraits. With lovely weather the bride and groom took a stroll around the grounds. Whilst at the front of the building the groom gave his new wife a set of car keys to a new Mercedes Benz which was parked at the top of the steps with a bow attached. The Bride was full of excitement with this incredible give and they quickly rushed to have their photographs taken in the new car
Evening Reception at Hillbark Hotel
After some lovely speeches including the bride herself, the guests moved to the drink’s reception area of the hotel where the DJ was set up and ready to go for the party! After the cutting of the stunning cake the couple started their romantic first dance captured on film to watch again. Then after the newlyweds wanted to light some sparklers so we lined up friends and family down the steps outside the front of the Hotel. The evening Celebrations is great time for everyone to unwind and to capture some awesome photos and film of guests throwing some shapes on the dance floor. This all helps tell the story of the day.
